Centering estimate: left border ~30%, right border ~70% horizontally (notably off-center left-heavy); top border ~35%, bottom ~65% — centering is poor, likely 75/25 or worse on the horizontal axis, which alone pushes toward lower grades. Corners appear rounded on all four, most visibly at bottom-left and top-right, consistent with a VG (3) card. Surface shows significant toning/aging with an orangey-brown patina across the entire card face, which is age-typical for this 1940 set but still a surface defect; there appear to be scattered light scratches or scuffs visible through the sleeve. No single dominant crease is clearly visible from this angle, but the sleeve and glare may be concealing one; the overall wear pattern including rounded corners, heavy surface aging, and very poor centering point to a VG to VG-EX range with VG (3) being the most likely outcome.
