Asking range

Not enough history yet. The index needs 2 listings priced at the same time across 3 intervals before it will draw a range - one seller’s asking price is an anecdote, not a market.

1940 Superman Gum Inc. 2nd series The Runaway Trolley Car #6
Estimated grade: 3 (2–4) · MEDIUM confidence · asking —

Centering estimate: left border appears wider than right (roughly 60/40 L-R), top border slightly wider than bottom (approximately 55/45 T-B) — centering is acceptable but not tight. The card stock shows significant toning/yellowing throughout the face consistent with 80+ year age. Corners appear rounded — all four show visible wear with the lower-left corner looking notably soft, consistent with VG to VG-EX range; no corner is sharp enough to suggest EX or better. Surface shows what appears to be a horizontal crease or fold line running through the mid-section of the card (visible as a subtle ridge/shadow across the yellow field), which if confirmed would anchor the grade at VG (3) or lower; the sleeve glare makes it difficult to definitively confirm crease depth. Edges appear moderately worn but no tears or paper loss are visible. This is a genuinely scarce 1940 issue and even at VG carries meaningful collector value.
