Asking range

Not enough history yet. The index needs 2 listings priced at the same time across 3 intervals before it will draw a range - one seller’s asking price is an anecdote, not a market.

Confirmed sales

No confirmed sales recorded yet. The index logs a sale only after a listing verifiably ends — auction results at the final bid. As tracked auctions close, comps appear here automatically.

1940 SUPERMAN GUM CARD #7"The Averted Train Wreck"
Estimated grade: 3 (2–4) · MEDIUM confidence · asking $340.00

Centering estimate: left border appears narrower than right (roughly 60/40 L-R favoring right), top border slightly wider than bottom (roughly 55/45 T-B), so centering is off but not catastrophically so. Corners show visible rounding on all four, most notably the lower-left and upper-right, consistent with a VG-range card. Surface shows significant overall toning/aging and apparent gloss loss across the card face, with what appears to be light general soiling or wear rather than a single hard crease, though the scan resolution makes it difficult to definitively rule out a light surface crease. Edges appear slightly rough but that is typical for this era's cut quality. Given the corner rounding, surface wear/toning, and age-appropriate gloss loss, a raw grade of VG (3) is most likely, with VG-EX (4) possible if the surface is cleaner than the scan suggests and no crease is present, or GOOD (2) if a crease is confirmed on closer inspection.
