Shaded band is the middle half of live Buy It Now asking prices, 6-hour intervals; the line is the median. Auctions are excluded - a climbing bid is not an asking price. The scale follows the asking prices, so a sale well outside them is pinned to the edge rather than flattening the band.middle halfconfirmed salebest offer, at its cap

1966 Topps Batman Black Bat The Riddler #36 Rookie VG/EX RAR
Estimated grade: 4 (3–5) · MEDIUM confidence · asking $24.99

Centering estimate: left border appears narrower than right (roughly 60/40 L-R favoring right), top border slightly wider than bottom (approximately 55/45 T-B), so centering is acceptable but not tight — no miscut detected. Corners show visible rounding on at least two corners (lower-left most apparent), consistent with a VG-EX range card; upper corners are harder to assess at this angle but appear slightly rounded as well. Surface shows moderate gloss loss and what appears to be light toning/aging on the white border areas, consistent with a stored vintage card; no creases are clearly visible from this photo though the seller does not self-disclose one. Edges appear reasonably clean with no major chips or tears evident, but the photo angle and resolution prevent confident assessment of the back or fine corner detail, warranting a widened range of 3–5 with a point estimate of 4 (VG-EX).

Topps 1966 Batman Trading Card #36 The Riddler Black Bat Ori
Estimated grade: 4 (3–5) · LOW confidence · asking $229.49

Centering estimate from visible borders: left/right appears approximately 60/40 to 65/35 — not severely off-center; top/bottom looks roughly 55/45, so centering itself is not a disqualifying factor. Corners show visible rounding and softening on at least two corners visible from this angle (lower-left and upper-right appear most worn), consistent with VG-EX to EX territory. Surface shows some toning/aging on the white background areas which is typical for this 1966 Topps issue. The screwdown holder introduces glare that prevents confident assessment of whether any surface creases are present, which is the key unknown holding back the ceiling — if crease-free, a 5 EX is plausible; if even a light crease exists, grade slides toward 3-4. The plastic holder itself shows wear (scratches at top) but that does not affect the card grade.
