Index grading notes

Centering estimate: left border appears noticeably wider than right (approximately 70/30 L/R), top border slightly wider than bottom (roughly 60/40 T/B) — off-center but not miscut. All four corners show visible rounding/wear, with the upper-left and lower-right appearing softer than the other two. Surface shows some gloss loss across the face of the card and there appears to be light overall toning consistent with age. No creases are clearly visible in this photo, though the back is unseen and a light surface crease cannot be ruled out. The rough white border texture is normal for 1966 Topps Batman and is not penalized; the corner wear and centering push this into the VG-EX to EX range, with EX (5) possible if corners are better than they appear and no back issues exist.

Centering estimate: left border appears notably thinner than right (~70/30 left-to-right), top border slightly thinner than bottom (~60/40 top-to-bottom) — centering is off but not catastrophic for this series. Corners are the primary concern: all four corners show visible rounding, with the lower-left corner appearing most worn and showing what looks like a small nick or paper stress; upper-right also shows rounding. Surface has noticeable gloss loss consistent with handling wear, and there appears to be light toning/aging on the white border areas. No obvious hard creases are visible from this angle but the sleeve glare obscures portions of the surface and a crease cannot be ruled out — the seller's 'Used' disclosure is consistent with what is visible. Edges appear intact without major chips. This card presents as a solid PSA 3 (VG) candidate with a slim chance of 4 (VG-EX) if the surface is cleaner than the photo suggests, or 2 (GOOD) if a crease is hiding under the glare.

Centering estimate: left border appears narrower than right (~60-65% right-heavy), top border slightly tighter than bottom, approximating L/R ~65/35 and T/B ~55/45 — borderline but within EX-MT range horizontally. Corners show mild to moderate rounding on at least the visible upper corners, consistent with EX to VG-EX wear. Surface shows some gloss loss and what appears to be light toning/aging across the green background, which is typical for this set. No obvious creases are visible from this photo, but the watermark obscures the center surface making it impossible to rule out light surface wear or print defects; edges appear reasonably clean with no severe chipping. The combination of corner rounding and centering pushes this toward a PSA 5 EX point estimate, with range extending to 4 if corners are more rounded on reverse or hidden crease present, or to 6 if surface is cleaner than it appears under the overlay.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~55/45 L/R), top border appears noticeably wider than bottom (~65/35 T/B), so centering is off but not severely miscut - no adjacent card printing visible. Corners show visible rounding on all four, with the bottom-left appearing most worn; these are not sharp, suggesting handling wear consistent with VG-EX to EX range. Surface shows some gloss loss and what appears to be light soiling or toning across the face, though print quality of the artwork itself reads clearly. Edges appear reasonably clean with no obvious tears or paper loss; the rough cut texture is typical for this 1966 Topps issue and not penalized. Back is not visible, limiting assessment of creases or staining that could push grade lower.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~55/45 L/R), top border noticeably wider than bottom (~65/35 T/B), so centering is marginal but not severely off-center. Corners show visible rounding at all four tips — most apparent at upper corners suggesting wear consistent with a VG-EX to EX range. Surface shows some general toning/aging consistent with a 57-year-old card, and there appears to be light soiling or print wear across the image area; no obvious hard creases are visible from this photo but the compressed image quality makes it impossible to rule out light surface creases entirely. Edges appear reasonably intact without major chips or tears, consistent with normal handling wear; rough cut texture is expected for this issue and not penalized.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~60/40 L/R), top border appears slightly wider than bottom (~55/45 T/B) - centering is reasonably tight and not a primary grade concern. Corners appear mostly sharp with possible very light wear on one or two corners, consistent with EX-MT to NM range. Surface shows strong gloss retention with vivid color saturation and no visible creases. Edges appear clean with no obvious nicks visible from this angle; the back is not visible so hidden issues (staining, creases, paper loss) cannot be ruled out, hence the wider range floor of 5. Overall a presentable mid-to-high grade example that most collectors would estimate in the EX-MT (6) neighborhood pending back inspection.
