Shaded band is the middle half of live Buy It Now asking prices, 6-hour intervals; the line is the median. Auctions are excluded - a climbing bid is not an asking price. The scale follows the asking prices, so a sale well outside them is pinned to the edge rather than flattening the band.middle halfconfirmed salebest offer, at its cap

Vintage 1966 Topps Batman Monstrous Illusion #48 Orange Back
Estimated grade: 4 (3–6) · LOW confidence · asking $9.99

Centering estimate: Left border appears narrower than right (~60/40 L/R skew), top border appears slightly wider than bottom (~55/45 T/B) - centering is off but not catastrophically so, likely in the 75/25 to 80/20 range on the worst axis. A large orange price sticker is affixed directly to the card face covering the lower-right corner and part of the title, which is a significant concern - if sticker removal causes surface damage or toning this would suppress the grade considerably; even without damage the sticker placement suggests the card has been handled casually. Surface gloss appears moderate with some loss visible, consistent with a well-handled vintage card. Corner sharpness cannot be reliably assessed due to top loader angle and sticker obstruction, but the visible upper-left corner shows some rounding. Range is widened substantially due to sticker obscuring a corner, plastic case glare hiding surface detail, and inability to see the back.
