Index grading notes

Centering estimate: left border appears notably wider than right (~65-70% left / 30-35% right), top border slightly wider than bottom (~55/45 T/B) — left-to-right centering is a meaningful concern likely in the 75/25 to 80/20 range. Corners: all four corners show visible rounding, most apparent on the bottom-left and top-right; no sharp points remaining, consistent with VG to VG-EX range. Surface: there is evident gloss loss across much of the face, and the image shows what appears to be a diagonal surface crease or stress line running through the lower-left quadrant near the title badge area, which if confirmed as a crease would anchor the grade at 3 or lower. Edges show some roughness consistent with vintage Topps cuts (not penalized heavily), but overall wear pattern — rounded corners, probable crease, gloss loss, and off-centering — places this squarely in the VG (3) neighborhood, with VG-EX (4) possible only if the lower-left line is a printing artifact rather than a crease.

Centering estimate: left border approximately 6mm, right border approximately 4mm, giving roughly 60/40 L/R; top border approximately 5mm, bottom border approximately 4mm, giving roughly 55/45 T/B - centering is acceptable in the NM-MT to EX-MT range. Corners appear lightly worn with very slight blunting visible on at least the lower-left and upper-left corners under inspection, consistent with EX-MT to NM territory. Surface gloss appears reasonably intact with no obvious creases or staining visible; the blue border shows no significant chipping or toning beyond age-appropriate wear. Back is not visible, and corner closeups are unavailable, which prevents confirming whether wear is minor rounding (Grade 6) or sharper (Grade 7); range widened accordingly.
