Index grading notes

Centering estimate: left border appears notably wider than right (roughly 70/30 left-to-right), top border slightly wider than bottom (approximately 60/40 top-to-bottom) - centering is off but not catastrophically so. Corners show visible rounding on at least two corners visible in the photo (lower-left and upper-left appear softened), consistent with handling wear; upper-right is partially obscured by glare. Surface shows some gloss loss and the image artwork appears slightly worn/scuffed, with possible light soiling on the lower portion. Edges appear reasonably clean with no obvious tears; the rough-cut texture normal for this 1966 Topps issue is present and not penalized. Back is not visible so creases cannot be ruled out, hence the widened range of 3-5 with a point estimate of 4 (VG-EX).

Centering estimate: left border appears narrower than right (~60-65% right-heavy), top border slightly wider than bottom, approximating 65/35 L-R and 60/40 T-B — borderline but not severely off-center. Corners show light-to-moderate rounding on at least two visible corners (upper-left and lower-left appear softer), consistent with EX to VG-EX range. Surface gloss appears reasonably intact with no obvious creases visible in this scan, and the red bat logo area looks clean. Edges appear slightly rough but this is normal for 1966 Topps Batman rough-cut production; no adjacent card printing is visible, so no miscut call. Back condition and true corner sharpness cannot be confirmed from this single front-only photo, hence the widened range.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly narrower than right (roughly 55/45 L-R), top border moderately narrower than bottom (roughly 60/40 T-B) - centering is acceptable for EX-MT range with no severe off-center penalty. Corners appear reasonably sharp with only very light rounding visible on the accessible corners; seller's claim of 'nice corners' is not contradicted by the image, supporting at least a PSA 5-6 range. Surface gloss appears present and intact with no obvious creases, staining, or major print defects visible; some expected vintage print texture is noted but nothing alarming. Back is not visible, and corner sharpness cannot be fully confirmed without closeups, so the range is appropriately widened - a strong EX-MT (6) is the most likely single grade, with NM (7) possible if corners hold up under scrutiny and EX (5) as the floor if hidden wear is present.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly narrower than right (approx 60/40 L/R), top border appears slightly narrower than bottom (approx 60/40 T/B) — centering is acceptable and does not appear to approach OC territory. No miscut detected. Corners appear reasonably sharp from this distance; the lower-left and lower-right corners show hints of very light softening but no obvious rounding, consistent with EX-MT to NM range. Surface shows good gloss retention with no visible creases; there is some expected print texture/snow typical of this issue that does not penalize significantly. The pink/red border shows no major chipping or staining. Back condition is unknown and could affect final grade; the range of 5–7 reflects uncertainty about corner sharpness under magnification and the unseen reverse.

Centering estimate: left border ~15%, right border ~20%, top border ~12%, bottom border ~18% — reads approximately 57/43 L/R and 60/40 T/B, which would be acceptable, but the COMC watermark obscures center detail. Corners show visible rounding on at least two corners (upper-left and lower-left appear softened), consistent with a VG-EX to EX range. Edges appear reasonably clean with no obvious major chips or tears, though the card has a slightly rough cut typical of the set. Surface shows mild gloss loss and possible light toning on the borders; no creases are clearly visible but the watermark blocks full assessment. Overall condition impression is VG-EX (4) with EX (5) possible if corners are better than they appear.
