1966 Topps Batman Riddler Back #28 Close Call — Raw

Centering estimate: left border appears notably wider than right (~70/30 L/R), top border slightly wider than bottom (~55/45 T/B), creating an off-center presentation but not an extreme miscut. All four corners show visible rounding and wear, consistent with a VG-range card. The black border at top shows chipping and wear along the edges, and there is evident surface wear with some gloss loss across the image area. The card shows general handling wear throughout; no obvious hard creases are visible in this photo but surface scuffing appears present — back condition and any hidden creases remain unknown, keeping the range wide.

Heavy cracking/creasing is visible across the entire card surface — multiple deep intersecting creases run diagonally through the center and corners, consistent with a PSA 2 GOOD at best. Centering appears roughly 60/40 left-to-right and 55/45 top-to-bottom, which is not the card's primary problem. All four corners show significant rounding and wear; the top-left and bottom-right corners are particularly stressed. Gloss is heavily compromised across most of the image area. The card has a vintage-appropriate rough cut on edges, but the extensive creasing network and surface damage dominate the grade assessment — this is a well-loved survivor solidly in the GOOD range.

Centering: left/right borders appear roughly 45/55 and top/bottom roughly 50/50 — not a centering killer, but centering is the least of the problems here. The card displays extensive surface cracking or crazing across the entire image area, consistent with a hard crease grid or severe paper stress — this alone would cap the grade in the PSA 1-2 range. All four corners show obvious rounding and wear; edges appear rough but that is normal for 1966 Topps vintage cuts. Gloss is heavily compromised across the face. The card is gradable as a raw submission but the heavy craze/crease network and corner wear firmly place this in the GOOD (2) to VG (3) range at best, with PR-FR (1) possible if the surface damage is deeper than the photo reveals.
