1977 O-Pee-Chee Star Wars Threepio searches for R2-D2 #124 0
Estimated grade: 4 (3–5) · MEDIUM confidence · asking $6.57

Centering estimate: left border appears notably narrower than right (roughly 70/30 left-right favoring right), top border slightly wider than bottom (approximately 60/40 top-bottom) — centering is off but not catastrophically so. The red OPC borders show visible edge wear and what appears to be some chipping or fraying, particularly along the left and bottom edges. Corners show rounding consistent with a VG-EX to EX range — no sharp points visible, but not heavily blunted either. Surface shows some gloss loss and the photo reveals possible light handling marks or toning; no crease is clearly visible from this angle but cannot be ruled out on the back or in areas obscured by the CGC watermark. Overall condition reads as a solid VG-EX (4) candidate, with EX (5) possible if corners are better than they appear and no back-side creases exist.

Estimated grade: 5 (4–6) · MEDIUM confidence · asking $3.99

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~55-60% left bias L/R), top border noticeably thinner than bottom (~60/40 T/B) — centering is off but not severely so, no miscut visible. The red OPC borders show some chipping/wear at the corners, particularly the upper-right and lower-left corners appear to have light rounding consistent with a 5 EX range; upper-left looks slightly softer as well. Surface gloss appears moderate with some light wear visible across the image area but no obvious creases are detected. Back is not visible so hidden creases or staining cannot be ruled out, warranting a wider range; the red border wear on OPC issues typically grades similarly to Topps blue-border chipping.
