1977 Topps Star Wars #18 Artoo-Detoo is missing! — Raw

Centering estimate: left border appears notably narrower than right (~60/40 L/R favoring right), top and bottom borders look roughly 55/45 T/B — centering is off but not severely miscut. Blue border shows visible chipping and wear along the top-left corner and top edge, consistent with this series' known susceptibility to border chipping. All four corners appear rounded to varying degrees — upper-left is the worst, showing clear rounding and what may be a soft crease near that corner; lower corners are marginally better but still show wear. Surface gloss appears reduced with some print texture visible, but no obvious hard crease crossing the image is detectable from this angle. The overall presentation is consistent with a VG-EX (4) card, though the corner wear and border chipping could push toward VG (3) on closer inspection; a raw grade of 3-5 reflects the uncertainty from the single flat photo without corner macro shots.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~55/45 L/R), top border modestly wider than bottom (~60/40 T/B) — centering is acceptable for a 7-8 range. Blue borders show no obvious chipping or significant wear visible at this resolution. Corners appear reasonably sharp with perhaps very light softening on the lower-left and upper-left corners, consistent with NM to NM-MT range. Surface gloss looks solid with no obvious creases, staining, or print defects apparent; however, a single photo at this distance cannot rule out fine surface scratches or subtle corner fraying that would separate an 8 from a 7. The card is unslabbed and no back is shown, so paper quality and any reverse defects remain unknown — range is widened accordingly.
