Index grading notes

Centering estimate: left border appears narrower than right (~60/40 L/R favoring right), top border appears slightly wider than bottom (~55/45 T/B) - centering is off but not severely OC. The blue borders show visible chipping/wear particularly on the lower-left corner area, which is a known vulnerability for this set. Corners appear to have light-to-moderate rounding but the angle and soft focus prevent confident corner assessment - no crease is visible on the front surface. Surface gloss appears moderate with some loss consistent with handling; the photo is too soft and angled to assess print defects or edge wear with confidence, warranting a wide range.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~55/45 L/R), top border slightly wider than bottom (~55/45 T/B) — centering is reasonably good for this notoriously wandering set. Blue borders show minor chipping/wear consistent with normal handling, most visibly at the corners; corners appear to have very slight softening but no obvious rounding — consistent with NM to NM-MT range. Surface gloss appears intact with no visible creases or staining. The blue border chips are the primary grade-limiting factor here, as this is the chief vulnerability of 1977 Topps Star Wars; without a back view or corner macro shots, a range of 6–8 is appropriate, with 7 NM being the most likely single grade given the corner and edge wear visible on the blue borders.
