1977 Topps Star Wars #246 Stormtrooper -- tool of the Empire — TAG (grade unconfirmed)

Centering: left border appears noticeably wider than right (roughly 65-70% left vs. 30-35% right L/R), and top border is slightly wider than bottom (approximately 55/45 T/B), placing horizontal centering in the EX to VG-EX range. Corners: all four corners show light-to-moderate rounding visible at card resolution — no sharp points remain, consistent with an EX (5) grade; no corner is dramatically worse than the others. Surface: the yellow-gold image area shows some light print speckle/snow typical of this issue but no obvious creases, staining, or heavy scratches; gloss appears partially intact but mildly diminished. Edges: appear reasonably clean with no visible chips or tears, though the green border shows minor wear consistent with handling; the back cannot be assessed, and a crease hidden in the image area cannot be ruled out, which keeps the floor at 4.
