1977 Topps Star Wars #263 The courage of Luke Skywalker — Raw

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~55/45 L/R), top border slightly wider than bottom (~55/45 T/B) — centering is quite good for this notoriously off-center series, consistent with NM or better. Corners appear reasonably sharp at this resolution with no obvious rounding or soft wear visible on any of the four corners, though the bottom-left corner is slightly obscured by the starburst logo. Surface gloss appears intact with no visible creases, staining, or print defects; the image presents cleanly with good color saturation typical of an unplayed card. The single-photo angle prevents confident assessment of edge wear, corner sharpness under magnification, and back condition, so the range is widened accordingly — this card could grade as low as EX-MT (6) if corners show micro-wear up close or as high as NM-MT (8) if they are genuinely sharp; NM (7) is the most likely outcome.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly narrower than right (~55/45 L/R), top border noticeably narrower than bottom (~60/40 T/B) — not severely off-center but not tight. All four corners show visible rounding under normal inspection; no corner is sharp, with the bottom-left appearing the most worn, consistent with handling. The green border shows minor chipping/wear along the left and bottom edges, and there is visible surface wear/gloss loss across the card face giving it a slightly matte appearance in places. No creases are detectable from this photo, which is the key distinction between a 4 and a 3; if a crease is present on the back (not visible here), the grade would fall to 3 or below. The range of 3–5 reflects uncertainty about back condition and whether any hidden surface creasing exists.

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~55/45 L/R), top border modestly wider than bottom (~60/40 T/B) — acceptable for the grade range. The green border shows no obvious chipping or wear visible at this resolution. Corners appear reasonably sharp with at most minor blunting on one or two; no corner is visibly rounded. Surface gloss looks solid with no apparent creases or staining, though fine surface wear and print defects cannot be ruled out without a macro shot. The image is a solid seller photo but lacks the corner closeups needed to confirm whether this grades into NM-MT (8) or settles at NM (7); range widened accordingly.
