Index grading notes

Centering estimate: left blue border appears noticeably wider than the right (~65-70% left / 30-35% right), and top border appears slightly wider than bottom (~55/45 T/B) — horizontal centering is the primary concern and likely lands around 70/30 or worse, consistent with EX or VG-EX range. Blue borders on 1977 Topps Star Wars are notorious chippers; the left and right border edges show some wear and chipping but are difficult to assess precisely due to the slight angle of the shot. Corners appear to have light rounding — not sharp, consistent with EX (5) rather than EX-MT (6). No creases are visible on the surface, gloss appears moderate with some loss, and the photo image itself is period-appropriate. The card could range from VG-EX (4) if corner wear is more pronounced than visible, up to EX-MT (6) if the centering reads better in hand and corner wear is minimal; EX (5) is the most defensible single estimate from this photo.
