1977 Topps Star Wars #47 Luke prepares for the battle — Raw

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly wider than right (~55/45 L/R), top border noticeably thinner than bottom (~60/40 T/B) — centering is acceptable for a 7-8 range on this series which is known for wandering registration. Blue borders show no obvious chipping or significant wear visible at this resolution. Corners appear reasonably sharp with no obvious rounding on the two visible lower corners; upper corners are partially obscured by the image angle but show no alarming softness. Surface gloss appears intact with no visible creases, staining, or print defects beyond what is normal for vintage Star Wars print snow. Photo is a full-card scan at good resolution but lacks tight corner closeups, which prevents confirming whether minor corner wear exists and warrants the widened range; seller's 'NR-MINT' claim is plausible but not confirmable without back inspection.

Centering estimate: left border appears narrower than right (approximately 65-70% right-heavy), top border slightly wider than bottom — rough L/R ratio ~65/35 and T/B ~55/45, centering is off but not extreme. Blue borders show visible chipping/wear along the left and bottom edges, consistent with this series' known susceptibility to border wear. Corners: the bottom-left corner near the starburst logo shows rounding; the other three corners appear slightly soft but not severely rounded — no razor sharpness visible. Surface gloss appears moderate with some reduction but no obvious creases detected from this photo; print quality is typical for the issue with no egregious snow or staining visible. The photo resolution limits confident corner and edge assessment, hence the widened range; a EX (5) point estimate reflects the off-centering, border chipping, and soft corners as the most probable outcome.
