Index grading notes

Centering estimate: left red border appears noticeably wider than right (~65-70% left), top border slightly wider than bottom (~55-60% top), so left/right is roughly 65/35 and top/bottom roughly 55/45 — acceptable for NM-MT on the vertical axis but borderline on horizontal. The red border along the right edge looks thin and shows visible chipping/wear consistent with this set's known border fragility. Corners appear to have light-to-moderate rounding, particularly the lower-left and upper-right, suggesting EX-MT to NM territory. Surface gloss appears reasonably intact with no obvious creases visible, but the card shows some handling wear and the red border edges exhibit the typical 1977 Topps Star Wars chipping that commonly pulls grades down. Back is not visible so condition on reverse is unknown; range is widened accordingly.

The card is physically curved/bent in the holder's hand, which itself may indicate a card with a pre-existing bend or soft crease — this is a significant concern. Centering cannot be reliably measured due to the curved presentation and camera angle; the left/right ratio appears roughly 60/40 and top/bottom appears approximately 65/35, but distortion makes this unreliable. The yellow borders show what appears to be some chipping/wear on the visible edges, consistent with typical 1977 Topps Star Wars border vulnerability. Corners cannot be assessed individually due to blur and angle — at least two corners are obscured entirely. Surface gloss appears moderate but the image quality is too poor to assess print defects or creases definitively; the physical curve of the card in-hand raises the possibility of a soft crease or bend that would cap the grade in the 3–4 range. Range widened substantially due to image limitations.
