Asking range

Not enough history yet. The index needs 2 listings priced at the same time across 3 intervals before it will draw a range - one seller’s asking price is an anecdote, not a market.

Confirmed sales

No confirmed sales recorded yet. The index logs a sale only after a listing verifiably ends — auction results at the final bid. As tracked auctions close, comps appear here automatically.

1940 Superman Gum #41 Roller Coaster Rescue Gum Inc Golden A
Estimated grade: 3 (2–4) · MEDIUM confidence · asking $249.00

Centering estimate: left border appears slightly narrower than right (~55/45 L/R), top border is thin relative to bottom (~60/40 T/B) — centering is passable for the era but not tight. More critically, the card shows significant toning and surface soiling across most of the face, giving a brownish, aged appearance typical of 1940 gum card stock. There is visible paper loss or a missing chip in the lower-left corner area (confirmed by the apparent notch visible through the case), and the upper-right corner also shows a distinct notch/chip, both of which are grade-limiting defects. Color registration appears intact and the artwork is fully present, but the corner damage and surface toning push this squarely into the VG-to-VG-EX range at best; the corner chips likely anchor this at VG (3) or lower. The case obscures precise corner and surface detail, widening the range slightly.
