Index grading notes
Centering estimate: left green border appears slightly narrower than right (~55/45 L/R), top border appears marginally thinner than bottom (~55/45 T/B) — centering is quite good for this notoriously wandering series. Corners: all four appear reasonably sharp at this resolution; no obvious rounding visible on any corner, though the bottom-left corner under the starburst logo is partially obscured by the graphic and cannot be fully assessed. Surface and gloss: the image shows good overall gloss with no visible creases, staining, or print defects; a small amount of expected print texture is present but nothing alarming. Edges appear clean and well-cut without evidence of chipping to the green border, which is the most common flaw on Series 4 — a full corner/edge closeup would be needed to confidently push above a 7, hence the conservative ceiling of 8.
Centering: left green border appears slightly wider than right (~55/45 L/R), top border slightly narrower than bottom (~55/45 T/B) — acceptable for EX-MT range. Corners appear to have very light wear at two or three tips with minimal but visible rounding, consistent with EX to EX-MT grade. Green borders show no obvious chipping or significant edge wear visible at this resolution, though fine edge nicks cannot be ruled out. Surface gloss appears decent with no creases evident, but the single standard-distance photo prevents confident corner and edge micro-inspection; range is widened accordingly.
