1977 Topps Star Wars #51 See-Threepio and Princess Leia PSA
Estimated grade: 3 (3–3) · HIGH confidence · asking $89.00

PSA label clearly states VG 3 with cert #159652482; independent visual assessment aligns with that grade. Centering estimate: left/right borders appear approximately 60/40, top/bottom approximately 55/45 — acceptable for this issue. Blue border shows visible chipping/wear on multiple edges, consistent with this series' known fragility. Corners appear rounded rather than sharp, consistent with VG wear. Surface gloss loss is visible and a light crease or surface impression appears plausible in the upper portion of the card based on tonal variation, consistent with VG standards. The PSA-assigned grade of 3 (VG) is fully consistent with what is independently observable through the slab.

1977 Topps Star Wars #51 See-Threepio and Princess Leia
Estimated grade: 4 (3–5) · MEDIUM confidence · asking $7.99

Centering estimate: left border appears notably thinner than right (roughly 70/30 L/R), top border appears slightly thinner than bottom (approximately 60/40 T/B) — centering is off but not extreme by Star Wars blue-series standards. The blue borders show visible chipping and wear along multiple edges, particularly the left and bottom edges, which is a known vulnerability of this set but still grade-impacting. Corners appear rounded with at least two corners (top-left, bottom-left) showing clear wear and softening visible even at this distance; no sharp corners are evident. Surface shows scattered print snow and general gloss loss consistent with handling; no obvious hard crease is visible in this photo, but the image angle and resolution make it difficult to rule one out with confidence. Condition is consistent with a well-used raw card in the VG-EX to EX range, with corner and border wear being the primary grade limiters.

1977 Topps Star Wars Series 1 Blue See-Threepio and Princess
Estimated grade: 5 (4–6) · MEDIUM confidence · asking $4.00

Centering estimate: left border appears narrower than right (roughly 60/40 L-R favoring right), top border slightly wider than bottom (approximately 55/45 T-B) — centering is off but not severely so, likely within EX-EX-MT range on that axis alone. Blue borders show visible chipping/wear along all four edges, most notably the left and bottom edges where the blue shows whitening consistent with handling wear — a hallmark flaw of this blue-border Star Wars set. Corners appear lightly to moderately rounded, suggesting at least one grade step below NM-MT; no sharp points are visible but no severe rounding either. Surface appears to retain reasonable gloss with no obvious creases visible in this photo, though the angle and single-photo limitation prevent confident assessment of the back or fine surface scratches. Given the blue border chipping and corner softness, EX (5) is the most likely grade, with EX-MT (6) possible if corners are sharper than they appear, and VG-EX (4) if additional wear is found on inspection.
